A Small Piece Of Paris In Houston.

What Are Your 2021 Resolutions?

December 31, 2020

It’s officially here — today is the last day of 2020.

Although it’s been a year filled with immense hardship, it’s also been filled with an outpouring of love and support from our local community. We couldn’t be more thankful for all of the support Alegria Gardens has received since March!

As we reflect back on what 2020 has taught us and look forward to what 2021 has in store, we’d like to share a couple of the resolutions we’ve written down. If any of these sound like resolutions you and your loved ones are making, get in touch with us to learn more about reserving one of our two beautiful Houston event venues!

Three Important Resolutions for 2021

Spend More Time With Family

We don’t know about you, but spending time with family is one thing we’ll never take for granted again. This year has been extremely difficult due to COVID-19 distancing and, while we’ll still need to distance into 2021, a time in which we can safely gather together is on the horizon.

If you and your family would like to make the first gathering of 2021 even more special, why not reserve an event venue where you can laugh, sing, dance, and enjoy amazing food together? Alegria Gardens would be more than happy to help you and your loved ones celebrate being together again!

Celebrate and Make Up for Missed Milestones

2020 was a reminder that milestones matter, especially if an important milestone fell during the peak of country-wide shutdowns and fears about viral transmission. Birthdays, graduations, quinceañeras, anniversaries, and of course, weddings were all celebrated in the absence of family and friends. In some cases, they were cancelled altogether!

No matter what your circumstances are, 2021 is going to be the year that we can make up for lost time and celebrate the important milestones we missed in 2021. At Alegria Gardens, we specialize in milestone celebrations and can help you plan everything from a surprise birthday bash to an unforgettable celebration for the grad who worked tirelessly to finish their academic career online.

Eat Great Food

Great food wasn’t in short supply in 2020. Between ordering takeout more frequently in an effort to support local businesses and having more time to cook at home, we certainly ate well throughout the last year!

However, there’s nothing quite like dining out in the company of family and friends, and we’re resolving to savor those moments when they return later this year. If you feel the same way, be sure to ask an Alegria Gardens team member about our catering options. We have an amazing in-house catering team and can also work with outside vendors!
